Although I am a strong believer in laissez-faire that does not mean that our forum is a medium to express private frustration in an offensive manner (however interesting the general subject may be).

Really, I do not take any pride in having taken this action, in fact I see it as a failure. If people just use their common sense and know when to stop or at least change their tack you would never need any moderating action, let alone the banning of community members.
