Does anyone have the histories of the surviving aircraft at the following museums?
1. War Museum, Warsaw

I don't have an answer to your question, but you might want to note that there is no "War Museum" in Warsaw. The Il-2 is at the Muzeum Wojska Polskiego which, depending on how you want to translate it, is "Polish Army Museum", "Polish Armed Forces Museum" or "Museum of the Polish Military".

OK, thanks-have emailed the respective museums, but don't expect an answer:wink:
VoyTech, thanks, I knew that wasn't correct when I wrote it, but the name of the museum is secondary at this point:)
