Oskar Bösch

Hi guys

I have just seen that Feldwebel Oskar Bösch (18 victories) of Sturmstaffel 1 and IV./JG 3 died on 4 June 2012 at Toronto in Canada. He was very active in gliding circles and by all accounts was a true gentleman. May he rest in peace.

Yes, heard this some time ago. Herr Bosch participated as a glider pilot in the Canadian International Airshow in my younger days and performed some spectacular flying. RIP Oskar.

Very sorry to hear this. He was always very helpful with our endeavors, and one of the very few survivors of the Sturmgruppe. Also one of the great postwar glider pilots. RIP.
