Peter Channer DSO DFC pilot with 105 Squadron died peacefully in his sleep at the grand age of 98 years.
Peter flew a total of 85 operations, he flew Blenheims with 18 Squadron during the latter half of 1941 and later flew Mosquitos with 105 squadron and 1655 Mosquito training unit, he flew his last op on 17th Sept 1944.
A true gentleman and great raconteur.
