Hi,

Can anyone please provide information on the loss of Feldwebel Hans Freundl who was killed on the 17th November 1940.

His prayer card states he was killed at the beginning of a combat mission.

He was an experienced flier this early in the war with the EKI and Bronze flight badge.

Still away on holiday so cannot attach scan of cad from iPad.

Thanks

Rick

Hi,

Looked in Battle of Britain - the forgotten months and see there were several aircraft lost on this day but could not identify this flier.

Can anyone help?

Rick

Not certain but I thought the war flights badges were not instigated until January 1941 ?
