As Reinhard Heydrich flew a Bf 109 solo over Norway and Holland with JG 77 in 1940, and in 1941 flew coastal patrols over the Frisian island of Wangerooge in a Bf 109E-7, with 'SS' markings. Has anyone ever seen photos of his aircraft with these markings? Or photos of Major Heydrich next to his plane or in Luftwaffe uniform? Thanks for any info!
