It has faced a long delay... Remember one time to read on Hikoki page the authors were doing an update due new info/material but it was around mid 2004. Hope the delay will reflects a good photo coverage plus information.

Below is a note I received today from Amazon.ca:

"We're sorry to report we won't be able to obtain the following item from your order:

Marko Jeras (Author), Dragisa Brasnovic (Author) "Checkerboard Hunters:: The Croatian Volunteers of 15./JG 52 on the Eastern Front"

Although we'd expected to be able to send this item to you, we've since found it's not available from any of our sources at this time. We realize this is disappointing news to receive, and we apologize for any inconvenience we've caused you.

We must apologize also for the length of time it's taken us to reach this conclusion. Until recently, we'd still hoped to obtain this item for you.

We've cancelled this item from your order."

Gentlemen,

Could I just say that this is not a Hikoki title (and never was); it is actually due to be published by Flight Recorder Publications.

I too am looking forward to it - and I understand from Barry Ketley that there are some wonderful photos due in it!.

All best,

Robert Forsyth

The Publisher still lists the book, without a publication date being mentioned:
