B3+SH of 1./KG(J)54. Photo appeared in several publications, f.i. Luftwaffe in Focus Special 2, Me 262 The production Log 1941-1945 & Jet & Prop Foto-Archiv 10.

I haven't seen it on any other a/c yet.

Thanks for this find, RudiS:

We most probably have a 5./JG 27 machine here ; as for the precise variant, it's anybody's guess ;)

Cheers

Bf 109 G, possibly Gerbini (?), Summer 1943. If location is confirmed, this might be, according to Jochen Prien, WNF built Bf 109 G-6 W.Nr. 19 769, 6./JG 53 which was found at Gerbini Platz 9 with bomb damage, as in evidence on the rear fuselage.

Thanks Marc.

The photo of Ju 88 G, etc. (last link in your post #1139) was not taken at Brunnthal but at Neubiberg.

Cheers,
Roger
