Agreed! And I believe seller is correct. British operated.

There are a lot more photos from our unknown man at Bari in late 1943-44.
The various Capronis showing U + digits are most likely from a co-belligerent unit called Squadriglia Collegamente Comando Unita Aerea.

I would also have the Re 2001 as in use with an Italian unit.
