Re: eBay: German intrest

Hello Tom,

PN+LE is wrong. The SKZ given by Eric are the right ones.
There are more a/c with TN+L on the following pages.
The Aslau plant was used by Fw, not by AGO.
Unfortunately I have no SKZ in this block, but according to the time of manufacture it may be A-8 from the block 350xxx.
Regards
Dirk

Is it so difficult to understand ? :)

Neither have I. But with the Luftwaffe, anything is possible. Is it not impossible that that a stab symbol has been placed on the rudder? Is it so difficult to understand?

Fucks sake!!!

Hi Dirk - Post 1721 - Thanks for putting me back on track. My Stkz info in the PN+L series is valid but not in this respect of the Spremberg Flugbuch data. I have had another 'closer' look and can now see that it should read as TN+LE. I have no extra copies that give any more Stkz in the TN+L series so any chance in seeing these to expand the series range. Thanks. I have had a look at the Fw190A-8 W/Nr.range of 350... for FW at Aslau and there are not that many but I could be wrong - 350151 to 350300. These include Stkz ranges of VI+Q and CS+I series of Fw 190 prototypes
Thanks again - Tom

Okay,
does one fellow member know another example of He 111, Ju 88 ... wearing a Stab symbol on rudder ? :)
Regards,
Franck.

That is NOT the point, Franck! Can you not see that?

It is a TO symbol normally seen on 109s, but that symbol is seen here on a He 111 rudder. A potential 'one-off', or a marking not previously seen. THAT is the point!

Jeez, how much more explaining do I have to give you!!!

Thanks John,
Yes, but that wasn't my question.
I think It should be better to ask if this KG53 He 111 ( I don't think it is a JU 88) for which the WNr. is perfectly readable was, or wasn't, a Stab machine; if yes, of course it was TO machine. ;)
Regards,
Franck.

I think it is a He-111, and I have seen them mark the stab planes as in that picture before. Stab planes can have markings were you would least expect them.
