He's not in my database cept the ace list. Is it possible he was killed on the ground during a bombing raid or strafing attack? That not unusual at this point in the war.

It's a bit amazing, Jim, but he is not listed in the GVM/schools, but in fact died on 270444 1. Jgr.West fw190a-2 wn2124, KH+MM, Ossum, Absturzt

I found it in a NVM, I think

Hi Iam looking for any information on this pilot who was killed in action I wouls like to know what squadron he was in.

reviving a very old thread..

In my data base (thanks matti! ) I have the information that he was killed at 11h15 on 27 Apr 1944 when his FW190 collided at take off with another aircraft ("Beim Start ein anderes Flugzeug gerammt. Bruch 100 %.").

He was then 1./JGr. West.

A stupid death, for an experimented pilot..
