Have to confess I am somewhat puzzled by the W. Nr. 3920. According to Petrick/Mankau, 3920 was a Bf 110 E-1 made by the Messerschmitt works sometime between January and March 1941.

On this Ebay action the sellers claims this is W.Nr.3920. G9+GA

That Bf 110 e-bay photo has an extended rear fuselage, ergo a 'D' or 'E'. Given what I have posted above, I suggest that photo shows an early 'E' (W. Nr. 3920 being an E-1 supports this).
