Hi all,
there is a photo of a Me 410 B-2/U4, W.Nr. 710458, captured at the Autobahn Munich in May 1945 in the Mankau/Petrick book (page 307 of the German edition).

Thanks for that photo, Robert. I had seen the photo before but from closer to full forward and so never saw the number. That's much appreciated! This also shows that the series 710 444 - 710 473 included at least some U4s. Thanks again!

Hmm, that's really interesting, Andy, because the book of constructors' codes that I got from Pawlas has no "Is". Thanks anyway. I imagine that the code is for Dornier Werke Munchen, since they seem to have produced all the B-2/U4s, but it would have been nice to have it confirmed.
