Re: ME-109 JG 54
Hello Brian
Is there any AIR something for the loss of Schön ??? Remi |
Re: ME-109 JG 54
Hello Remi,
All I have is the ref. In the Blitz Then and Now Vol 2 which indicates Schon's aircraft may have been damaged in combat over Tilbury by Sgt. Norwell of 41 Sqd. or shot down by P/O Lewis of 249Sqd. Either way he was killed attempting a forced-landing near Canterbury. AIR22/226 ''Location of Enemy Aircraft Bourght Down'' may have a brief report on his crash, I have a couple of reports but not for the 27th.Sept. Regards Brian |
