Was Gefreiter R Terstegen a Dutchman? His name looks more Dutch/Belgian than German. I know several Dutch pilots joined the Luftwaffe, but little is known about their fate and (small) numbers.

Hi Chris and others;

The Condor in question was F8+EL (multiple sources have this: incl. 3. Staffeln search mission reports confirm this letter - besides individual letter Z on 3. Staffeln of this period has no other ref than the GQM lists - thus belived typo). Martlet BJ516 off HMS Audacity is claimed the victor.
