http://www.luchtoorlog.be/me109e_f1.htm is another print of the machine Rabe refers too. To my knowledge there is nothing linking this machine to Bretnutz. There is an article from Replic that tries to assert the connection, but that doesn't make it so. He was with 6./JG 53 during September 1939 according to his claims from that period.
