Hello Peter T,

Do you by any chance happen to know the "Werknummer" of Leythäuser's Heinkel? Did the crew consist of only four airmen (Pilot, Bordfunker Bordmechaniker and observer)? What is in fact the exact German term for observer?

Hi,

there were only 4 crewmembers. German term for observer is Beobachter. The Werknummer is not in the files, this is usual for 1940.
