I have a photograph taken at an RAF barracks sometime before 06/01/1944. Albert John Naisbit is the second from the right, with hands in his pockets. I believe this must have been part of 107 Sqn. Can anyone identify any of the other men? Many thanks

Re: 107 Sqn RAF
I am trying to establish what happened to the air gunners of 107 Sqn when in feb/March 1944 they switched from Boston Bombers to Mosquito bombers.
According to the ORB of that time " all remaining Air gunners not previously mentioned have been transferred to 137 wing field HQ" What happened to these air gunners from there? Of particular interest is where Flt Sgt S E Millbank was posted to following the deaths of his crew mates on 6th Jan 1944 onboard 107 Sqn BZ387 L when it crashed near little sandhurst. Somewhere these key aircrew would have been re assigned however I can not find where S E Millbank was posted onto, any help would be fantastic. |
