Re: Staka 4./Z.G. 26
THX for list Doug! (I think we could contact offboard)
Also, I could add: If Oblt. Heubel was WiA, there could be Acting StaKa posted from other unit (who could be Hptm. Kleiner), and after Heubel recovered and returned flying, Kleiner stood with unit and flew with Staffel. |
Re: Staka 4./Z.G. 26
Thanks Doug,
At least we know now something about Oblt. Heubel. Regarding Hptm. Kleiner Evgeny, we don`t have any convincing proof about his identity, let us wait until something new appears. |

Quote:
Hptm. Herbert Lüttke (17.12.1939 – 18.08.40 - KIA s/d by RAF fighters) Oblt. Artur Niebuhr (19.08.1940 – 27.09.40 - KIA, s/d by RAF fighters) Oblt. Reinhold Hubel (28.09.40 – 09.07.1941 - WIA - take-off accident, Ulla a/f, 60km W from Vitebsk) Oblt. Wilhelm Berlin (09.07.1941 - 30.04.1942 transferred to 9./ZG1 as StaKa) Upon recovery, Oblt. Hubel probably stood with his Gruppe as it was renamed I./ZG2 in April 1942. Then, in september, it was renamed III./ZG1. Hptm Reinhard Hubel was appointed Gr.Kdr. III./ZG1 on 16.2.43, and relinguished command in 3.43. I dont know were he go to after march 1943. |
