It's not a known case. As far as we known this plane has not been left at a Dutch airfield or has it made a crashlanding at Dutch territory. Maybe it helps when you could give more details about the unit the soldiers were in? Jaap |

For all yourt help with this one, got some more good news there may be two more photos, one with my friends grandfather James Shearer (Tall soldier on the left) at the controls in the cockpit, and maybe a photo of the whole aircraft on the ground. I have asked my friend William to ask his Grandfather who is now in his 90s, what army unit he was in and if he can recall the names of any towns or villages nearby. Once I have more which will be later next week, I will post details and any photos on here. Regards Dave. |
