It would be great if someone with a Flickr account could ask the guy who uploaded this one:

for a larger scan.

Thank you Steven,

Can anyone tell for sure what's the tactical number of this plane? My guess after playing around with some image editing software would be "13", but it could also be "15", "3" or "5"...Maybe my monitor renders the contrast too badly; any idea?

Hello Unikum,

You're correct: two other Bf 109 K-4 pictures in the same stream of Blue Yonder:

http://www.flickr.com/photos/2305717...n/photostream/

Bf 109 K-4 "White 24" of 1. /JG 27, the same machine as seen in Kees, M and Poruba T (2000), Messerschmitt Bf 109 K-4, camouflage and markings, JaPo, p. 64

and the well known pair found in Wunstorf:

http://www.flickr.com/photos/2305717...n/photostream/

Bf 109 K-4 W.Nr. 330 255 "Black <" of III. /JG 27
Bf 109 K-4 W.Nr. 332 700

Kees, M and Poruba T (2000), Messerschmitt Bf 109 K-4, camouflage and markings, JaPo, page 26

Cheers
Marc

Hi Modeldad,

How did you manage this? Would it be possible to do the same for the Bf 109K-4 pics? Thanks in advance!

Cheers
