Re: 8/KG 4 Crash-landings at Schiphol
Hi
I have an aircraft from 7./ZG 26 mentioned as damaged after an emergency landing at Amsterdam on August 13th 1940. Would this be the Bf 110 referenced earlier? I also have a Ju 88 from III./KG 4 belly-landing and damaged 50% at Schiphol on July 29th 1940, and a second Ju 88 destroyed (100%) after a crash-landing at Schiphol on the same date. Similar incidents also at Schiphol on October 2nd, 8th, 12th and 19th. If anyone would be interested in loss details I can post them here. Regards, Andreas B |

Sandfort = Zandvoort. Same place, different writing. First one German, second one Dutch. Andreas, I think your right about the Bf 110. Same unit, same a/c, same day. The others I will check first. Jaap |
Re: 8/KG 4 Crash-landings at Schiphol
Andreas: Sorry I missed this. Ac is definitely 8/KG 4 or 8/KG 30 and at Schiphol. Thanks for the dates-I have the details. The Bf 110 is coded for Stab I/ZG 26 and on its belly so cannot be the one on 13 Aug 40-a mystery!
