G 15-75 was definately a two seat Spitfire but where it went I am not sure.

You say Egyptian second Tr IX. Is this speculation?

G-15-75, I had been told that it could be a Sea Otter, unless it was used twice. As for Egypt, there is said to have been a second T9, but I only speculate that it was "75"( hence red letters). We have so few left that it could be.The T9 would have come at the end of a run of Spitfire's for India so maybe it went to India.

The Sea Otters were :
JM977 - G-AKRF; JM818 - G-ALVB; JM966 - G-AKYH; JM764 - G-AKID; JM826 - G-AKIO; JM827 - G-ALTX; JN107 - G-15-76; JN142 - G-15-78; JN141 - G-15-77; JN186 - G-15-79; JM894 - G-15-108.

G-15-80 and 81 are most likely to be Sea Otters also as these numbers are between those already noted and a 82 to 87 were Sea Otters for France.

G-15-108 I had thought was an Egyptian Spitfire along with 109 and 110 (Egyptian numbers 700 to 702). But it turns out that 108 was a sea otter while 110 was an Attackerfor Pakistan and 109 was a Spitfire either PL983 OR RB164.

I really don't know, but I do have the photograph in the livery.

According to the log book of an Airwork Ltd. pilot G-15-256 was a Spitfire PR.19 test flown in March 1954.
