The position given in the first post is about 100 nautical miles NNW of Berlin if that helps.

Dan, the coords you gave are ~100km nnw of Berlin near a place named Neustrelitz. That is ~550km from Twente.

For my uncle's second claim, on the March 22, 1944 raid on Frankfurt the position given in the combat report is 49.48N 08.30E. Any idea where that was?

Opps, I see SES already posted a distance.

Dan, you can plug the coords into Google Earth. That is what I did.

49.48N 08.30E is ~10km west of Ludwigshaven am Rhien. This position is @202* ~75km from Frankfurt.

I think that Denmark was one hour before UK.
