Re: E-bay pics
Hi Marc,
You're very busy!!! Good news it works here too! Franck. |
Re: E-bay pics
Hi Marc,
no wizardry at all;) The cockpit is a C-type without doubt and W.Nr. 250006 is the only Ar234C-3 having been captured standing on its own undercarriage and with small swastika. According to my informations Ar234Cs have been found in München-Riem, Bad Wörishofen and/or Alt Lönnewitz/Prague-Ruzyne. The seller points to JV44, too. Currently being discussed here: http://www.luftwaffe-experten.org/fo...=1&#entry56370 Regards Roland |
Re: E-bay pics
Hello Ouidjat and RolandF,
Glad that it works everwhere, Ouidjat! And thanks for your C-3 pointer, Roland, one never looks enough at any given picture. Much appreciated! Cheers Marc |
Re: E-bay pics
You´re welcome, Marc,
btw, the Hs 129"B" is in fact an A-0 or A-1 variant which was not accepted by the authorities because of the bad performance of the Argus 410 inline engines. Ended its days with assault flight schools in occupied France. A familiar photo: http://www.luftarchiv.de/index.htm?/...chel/hs129.htm Regards Roland |

Re: E-bay pics
Yes, this is a Do335B variant...
Btw, concerning the Ar 234C-3 in a scrap heap - the mottled He111 tail belong to the He111 in the background of this pic of Do335A-05 W.Nr.240105: http://www.ww2incolor.com/d/300557-2...425_16a4a7a031 So München-Riem can be regarded as ascertained! Regards Roland |
