Quite right, my error, he is indeed listed as an Oberleutnant. Still begs the question: What was he doing in Poland?

The Oblt. Dobrick on the VDK Datenbank is born in Danzig and therefore he was reinterred in Danzig.

His location of death is given as Rela.Krems/D. which is most likely meaning Reserve-Lazarett Krems an der Donau. It might be that Dobrick was killed or became ill when he was with a training unit. Please note that Fels am Wagram with the Verbandsführerschule G.d.J. is also close by.

Many thanks for that clarification. The place of his death had meant nothing to me before. The picture brightens a bit. I'm still curious about the circumstances of his death though.
