Ray Sturtivant used the record card to produce his work (with Mick Burrows) on FAA serials for Air Britain, so I'd strongly recommend you get hold of a copy. There was talk of a second edition, but I've not heard more since he died.

Hi Graham,

I've been trying to get hold of a copy of his book FAA Aircraft 1939-45 but no luck yet. I did see one copy but it was over £300. A bit pricey even for me.
