Re: 882 Sqn Wildcat loss/claims 1944
Drew,
If your still tuned in, I should tell you about Ian Pfennigwerth's latest book on RAN awards, Bravo Zulu: https://booksonwaraustralia.com/aust...ravo-zulu.html Not cheap, but books of this quality rarely are. Larger library, probably the best shot. I will be buying the set. Col. |

Thank you to all for responding to this post and adding the updates. I have been out of the loop on this topic for a while so I apologise to Alexandra and Jarrad for not responding sooner and hope to follow up when possible. Thanks Geoff and Col for the book details.

Re: 882 Sqn Wildcat loss/claims 1944
Just picked up on this thread. We currently have Sherborne's aircraft on 23 Aug 44 as unidentified. Where did the identity of JV378 come from? Is there a clearer view of the photo on the cover of the book/any further info in the text (apparently the book is unavailable)? Currently working on the fully revised and improved second edition of 'Fleet Air Arm Aircraft 1939 to 1945' with Mick Burrow for publishing by Air-Britain and keen to have any updates that anyone feels ought to be taken into consideration.
