Try taking pictures of the microfilm reader screen with a digital camera. I have done that with mixed success. I suggest using a small tripod for stability. I have seen this setup used in the microfilm reading room at College Park. Check before you go, the rules may have changed. At the NASM archives, they used to let you hand hold the camera, but no tripod. Cheap, fairly quick.
