Nibele,

You will have more informations on FuG 16 following this link:

http://www.noding.com/la8ak/29b.htm

No precision given as to which aircraft used FuG 16 though. On the relevant Wikipedia page, mention is given that FuG 16 was standard on both Bf 109 G and Fw 190 A series.

Cheers
Marc

The 7,92mm ammo looks like from 1941 and 1937(?). The rotten other one looks like an 13mm MG 131. If so, plane either Ju 88 or an Me 410.

Yes..I found more pieces confirming that it was a Dornier 217.Now the question is where and if exist a database for 217 losses in Italy at the end of 1943-beginning of 1944.Best regards, Andrea

Maybe it could be an italian Do-217 J, because Regio Aeronatica received some of them as nightfighters

In Ulf Balke's »Kampfgeschwader 100 Wiking« there are lists of that unit's losses. There are many listed as missing or shot down on missions to Anzio or Salerno but the appendix (all that I have) doesn't give the locations of the crashes.
