Re: He 111 at Trondheim mystery
Source is HW5-1, Ultra , but very first data , so probably they are not fully fit at that time to pretty good "ear" the german messages
CF+Ix quite surprise I hv a dozen of different Ju52 in that serie, nd even if the CF+Jx are also Ju52, so much clues to nothing good ??? Maybe.. but from the Wn CF+Ix to CF+Jx seems really matching, D-ADAR could be D-ADAU/ADAE/ADAY or the Fw200 ADHR if it at been lost at that time CH+AQ probably CH+HQ , A nd H sound very similar in writings nd in spelling N3+ That one hv to be right So for the brits 300 % "overclaim", probably it had been made worst Rémi |
Re: He 111 at Trondheim mystery
Thanks Remi,
I have D-ADAY as a Ju 52. CF+JI could be a candidate. CH+HQ is still flying in March 1942. Any other thoughts? Regards, Norbert |
Re: He 111 at Trondheim mystery
Hello,
According to the loss list available at http://www.rafandluftwaffe.info/, the He 111 of II./KG 4 collided on landing at Fornebu with three parked Ju 52s of KGr zbV 107. One of the latter is listed with 80% damage but the other have % as damaged percentage. Were all three destroyed, or were two only damaged ? The same day, acoording to the same source, a He 111 of II./KG 26 belly-landed at Sola airfield after being hit by ship gunfire, and again his damage percentage is shown as ?, so I would like to know if it was damaged or destroyed. Thanks in advance Laurent |
