Re: Looking for VVS airfields info

Thank you very much Gabor, these are very helpful !

Hello Larry, I am not Dan but I can get in touch with him and other local guys, all I know is that there is no centralized resource yet similar to the data available on ww2.dk, online or in a book.

Hi muggs_ro,

Thanks for your reply and I apologize for my incorrect assumption that you might be Dan! I will take your word on the lack of a consolidated OOB resource giving the base locations for the units of the AAR during the war. I will go with what I already have from myriad sources and hope for the best. Therefore, there is no need to contact Dan or others. Should any questions arise, I will post them here or on www.worldwar2.ro.

Thanks again!

Larry deZ.

Congratulations, a superb research! I will check more VVS losses, but I am afraid. they are just combat losses without any hint on their actual airfields, so not sure if I can add anything else here.

Hi muggs_ro,

I just tried to reply to your PM but it could not be send. Your PM box has exceeded its limit and needs to be culled to make space.
