According to NVM Fw Karl Küster was killed 1944-08-19 at Londerzeel, 17 km nordnordwestlich Brüssel in Do 217 M1, 722964, U5+IL of 3./KG 2.

Unfortunately no other info except, that it was an operational flight (Feindflug).

Thank you both for your reply.

The ORB of Hawkinge mentions 19/08/1944 as date of his victory. Now is the question at what time the DO217 crashed at Londerzeel. Plisnier claimed to have shotdown his victim around 08.00 am.
