I suspect Karg was in DE826 Membury Membury [USAAF] Cr The aircraft was repaired - so Crash maybe crash landing - Membury would match for Wiltshire hospital Note Rowton Hall (not Hill) Paul |

Rhodesia; DX576 SAAF. 8 - N6878;T6559. 9 - AW169(SoC); DE774 ( pilot:Marsh H.A. ). 10 - nil 11 - Leopard Moth MA922 (India). 12 - T6870. 13 - T7284 (DBF); T6444 ( hit HT Cables). 14 - T5597 (S.Rhodesia); T7413 (Dived into ground Panshanger ). 15 - T5976; DE935 ( pilot: Walker, John R and Riggins, J.T. ). 16 - nil 17 - DE302 (Pilot: Sgt Smith P.H. ); T8232 (S. Rhodesia ); DE826 (pilot: McKee, L. S. ); DE933 ( pilot: Marsh, S. E. ). 18 - T5210; DE932 (pilot: McGuire, W.M. and Nye, J.A. ). 19 - Gipsy Moth G-AAIE (AW160); NZ763; T5815.
