Yes, I think that the top-wing bar was as you describe, and yes, I think that the white markings were usually on both sides of the tailplane. As far as I can tell from the limited photography (these bars were only in use for a short period before being washed off or overpainted) these white (or pink for some units) bars were on both the wings and the tail. |

We have discussed this before-yes, it is the blacked out one taken late 1940 or more possibly early 1941. What puzzles me is why the seller said the photo was taken at Vannes unless it was an assumption that the unit was KGr 100 |
