When you say D-Day do you mean just 6 June 44? I have details of all I & II/KG 51 losses until the time they were withdrawn to Germany

Chris, yes, just 6 june 1944. I am trying to figure was were the actions of Lufwaffe during that very day.

Bolten's loss was just after midnight and they were either after Lancasters attacking gun emplacements (as were I/SKG 10) or an intruder sortie to southern England. The Flugbuch does not say and the other one I have for another pilot has no mention of any sorties until later in the month.
