Thks, in fact the missing craft for that day is given both by Ultra-trans. nd NVM as the 700272, nd the ADIk554 says it crashed on sea, but gently enought to get chance to 3 crew to be saved , now you are speaking of Kessel/Venlo ....maybe refering to one of the 2 other planes ???

Reading the entries over and over again and still strugling with the problem that we don't know (yet) about a He111 landing near Kessel/SW of Venlo, my following loud thinking/actions: - the He111 crew of Bohne could have dropped their V-1 when they became under attack: that could perhaps explain the comment about desintegrating parts of the He111 - I have asked a local historian in Kessel whether he can find anything about a He111 near his home town, I hope to inform you soon about his findings All the best, Marcel |
