Hi,

Do we know who the pilot was? The canopy looks sealed enough - I wonder if human remains were found?

Lt.Ivan Baranovsky, and yes his remains were found. He was given a Military funeral...another is no longer missing.

Have a look at these sites. he second has the P39/Hurricane recoveries under Soviet units and lend lease has a couple on P40 recoveries.
