Stig, yes they were the early type here is 25-102 from an earlier eBay auction on 02/09/2015

Noteworthy the mix of insignia on these planes.
Military fuse codes: 25-nnn and civilian insignia on tailfin/rudder (should sport a St.Andrew cross with that code).

There is a good article in Air Enthusiast No.77 (Sept-Oct.1998) about the He-111 career in Spain with mention to these activities. Some WNr's. are given.
