Regarding flight log Engelmann an He111H-5, W.Nr.3129, was flown in Rostock-Marienehe on 27.06.1940 (Kurssteuer - u. FT-Flug) and 11.09.1940 (Erprobung der Kraftstoffauspumpanlage).

That was a very interesting information Rasmussen

First of all that WNr is not mentioned by Volker Koos at all (as far as I can see) but also because you state it was a H-5.

However now it becomes a bit more complicated since I find it rather unlikely that Hungary should take delivery of one He 111 P-2(U) and one He 111 H-5.

So I am now more puzzled then ever from where WNr 3129 and transfer reg D-AXVK comes into the picture. Dénes??

Cheers

This info comes from a forum member, but needs confirming.
Apparently, this one did not end up in Hungary.

In the logbook Heinrich Kurt's , 3 planes are given as He111P U, 3113,3118 nd 3125 +3127 as He111H U, all wore their STKZ except 3118 which is explicitely "numbered" D-AYWF, all planes made their "Werkflug" from Mai to July 1940, Kurt report also 4 flights with the .....3129 ! on june nd july 40, but, alas no STKZ is given

Thanks, Rémi, for the info.
W.Nr. 3118 (GA+MP) ended up with FFS C 6 in August 1940-March 1942.
Similarly, 3113, 3118, 3125 also served in various school units. However, I found no info on 3127 in Lw service.

One remark to post #14: the correct writing of the name is Kurt Heinrich.
