Re: New Book - Luftwaffe Eagles Over Ireland

Hi Harry , thanks for your kind comments . Sorry for not being in touch sooner but I have been up the walls with the book launch . I will be in touch very soon .
Many thanks to all who attended my book launch in Dublin last night especially Maura Cummins and family .Also thanks to the family members of Arthur Voigt , Kurt Kyck and Ernst Muller who were also there , it was fantastic to see the family members of the Luftwaffe Airmen who were interned in Ireland present for the book launch . I hope the book will give some insight into the lives of the Luftwaffe men who were in Ireland from 1940 to 1945 .

A must have! - Luftwaffe Eagles Over Ireland

Hello to all,
interested in airwar over Ireland and UK.

Yesterday I got the long awaited copy of this incredible book.
The stories are very well researched and the book contains
numerous colour pictures with so much detail. Original maps,
rare seen artefacts, portraits, ...

It's a pleasure to read the stories in this high quality book.
I am very happy.

Congratulations to the author - Justin Horgan - for this superb work.

Hello Harry , thank you very much for your kind words about my book . It is such a pity that my co-author Paddy Cummins was not alive to see the book released .
Over twenty years of hard work went into this book and I am very proud of the finished book . Most of the photos are new and have not been seen before .
Just like your wonderful book Harry it was interesting to see the material that both of us have on the crew of Gottfreid Berndt / Paul Stormer.
I will gladly share material with you Harry if I can be of help in any way .

I just want to wish a Happy Christmas to all the members here who helped me finish our book over the last few years . Sadly my friend and co-author Paddy Cummins did not live to see the finished book but I am sure he would be proud as were his family . Again many thanks.

Hello,

For those of you who are interested in such things:

Just had confirmation of my purchase of a copy of "Luftwaffe Eagles Over Ireland". The total cost, including post & packaging to OZ, was AUS$86.54(breakdown was: book Euro35.00, p&p Euro18.00).

To the best of my knowledge, the book has never been offered, commercially, in Australia.

Col.

Hi Colin , thanks for ordering our book . It was posted out to you today and we hope you enjoy it . Due to the size of the book ( A4 , hard cover with dust jacket and almost 400 pages ) postage to you was not the cheapest but I am sure the book will be worth it .
We would love to have a distributor in Australia and we have already sent books " Down Under " but most of our first print run is now almost sold . If we do a reprint it is something we may consider .
