Re: II/KG27 Operations 21/22.2.41.

One point. Not me but Volker Koos. :) He is a rock when it comes to Heinkel (and lots of other things as well!!) Steve I have not studied this in detail, but the loss figures given so far are 4./KG 27 He 111 H 5./KG 27 He 111 H 6./KG 27 He 111 P Hence my thoughts regarding the two losses from the 6th Staffeln. Feels logical they operated only the P model and since both losses are said to have been He 111 P I still feel WNr 2611 and 2798 are more logical than one P (2611) and one H (2789). But if anyone can offer full proof they never operated any P models, I suppose we can be looking at WNr 02611 and 2789, both H-2.... Sorry if I feel hard to convince, but this is interesting and I enjoy problems like this. Hope no one minds... Cheers Stig |
