Regarding L3 (42-40937) There is an accident report dated Jan 2, 1944 on Aviation Archaeology. The plane had a forced landing due to engine failure at Lisbon. It was being flown by James F Wiley, 6th Ferry Group, 9th Ferry Squadron.
