In TOCH October 2002 was the thread "Bf 109 G-2 - 14230 - Stkz".
On 13 October 2002 Tom Willis had posted
" ... The blocks concerned were:
14214 - 14234 BL+IA to BL+IU
14235 - 14255 CC+PF to CC+PZ
14256 - 14268 CH+KN to CH+KZ."
According to this the Stammkennzeichen for the Bf 109 G-2 14232 was BL+IS.
But this is refuted by documented flight log entries BL+IR for a Bü 131 and BL+IS for a Si 204, thanks to Norbert and Rasmussen.
BL+IQ for the Bf 109 G-2 14230 is documented in "Falcon's Messerschmitt Bf 109 Hangar", Foto ID 9636.
So the Stammkennzeichen for the 14232 is still unclear.

Most probably, the "story" is like that

BL+IA to BL+IQ Bf109G-2 14214/14229

BL+IA/14214 is documented , nd BL+IQ/14229 also as an G-12

CC+PA to CC+PZ Bf109G-2 14230/14255,

No gap,

Hello,

There seems to be one letter missing in the BL+IA to BL+IQ series. From A to Q there are 17 letters, but from 14214 to 14229 only 16 G-2's.
