Kinda an obscure name. I'd try here - http://pilotosdelaluftwaffe.tripod.com/entrada.htm - to see if you can find him. Alternatively, there are tons of pictures of other LW pilots on there, but only those with the Knights' Cross and upwards.

Dear Cori,
Thank you very much for your answer. I consulted the website yesterday, but it was full of ads and it was hard to find anything about Sigurd Haala, nor about any particular pilot. Rather, it seemed to be ads to be clicked on, but no search engine or anything.

I forget, not everyone has an ad blocker. You'd have to click at the very top of the screen that says "pilotos" I had a look in the knights' cross area, but did not see him (you can use the control button and the f button to bring up the "find" box in any webpage).

Thank you very much for your answer. I am very happy that you have scanned the articles for me, but I will send you my email address in a private message.
Best regards,

Unfortunately, I keep getting this message: RT has exceeded their stored private messages quota and cannot accept further messages until they clear some space.
In this case, I have to give you my private address in public:
melomane.plurilingue@gmail.com
Thank you very much in advance.

Dear Cori,
Thank you very much for checking it. If there is no photo of him, it's a pity.
Best regards,
Teresa

What did Sigurd Haala did after World War II? Did he serve in the new Austrian Air Force? He died in 1997.
