The times used on each side did sometimes coincide.

Hi Benjamin,

the mission of 13.15/15.20 reported by Host was carried out by 12 P.47s of 411st squadron (but, apparently, a P.47 aborted due to oxygen leak and was escorted back by another P.47. The two aircraft jettisoned their bombs armed at F3118).
The squadron went on armed recce in the Koblenz area.TOT 13.45/15.00.

8 bombs were dropped on marshalling yard at L8297 (2 direct hits and 6 near misses): 2 box cars were claimed destroyed and 1 railroad cut.
4 bombs were dropped on warehause at L755996 and the target was claimed damaged.
4 bombs were dropped on marshalling yard at L540811; 3 box cars were claimed damaged and 1 Railroad cut.
4 bombs were dropped on marshalling yard at L575815 and also strafed; 6 box cars were claimed damaged.

1P47 was damaged by Flak - Cat "A".

thanks for the interesting information!! Could you please tell me your source/ where you found these facts?

Probably the 411th Fighter squadron of zur 373rd Fighter group was responsible for the attack. The Information about the localities, bombs and damages were also very interesting. I have checked the history of Kaisersesch (L575815) and there is no evidence/suggestion for a Fighter Attack at February 2, 1945... But for Urmersbach (L5784). At this date and time the rail road (+ marshalling yard) and SS-trucks were attacked and the village was strafed. But older People told ne that more bombs than 4 bombs were dropped.

Therefore I think the last attack could be was at Urmersbach.
