Hi Adriano, Thanks for your info. Of course, there are possibilities that the exact finale was slightly different but, I suspect the evidence points strongly towards the likelyhood that damage from combat led to the crash and death of Walter Nowotny and, I feel that the Encounter report of 2nd Lt Stevens seems to fit the facts very closely.

So do I believe he was the victor of 110400 and his pilot...was just pointing facts to the overall picture.
