Losses 2 Halifaxes 1Stirling. 158 Sqn Halifax II JN904 NP-K Crashed into wooded area known as Le Bois due Rivoireau at St-Georges d" Esperanche (Isere) 14 km E of VIENNE France .Crew killed. 196 Sqn Stirling III EF114 ZO-H.Crashed at Heurtevent (Calvados) 3 km ssw of Livarot France.Crew killed. 419 Sqn Halifax II LW240 VR-S .Homebound shot down by nightfighter. 4POW 4 Evaded. 10/11 Nov 1943 Modane ..No Losses Bomber Command War Diaries page 431- 443 /RAF Bomber Command Losses 1943 page 323 Cheers Mike |
