Just re-lighting this old thread. Reports now show this 'possible' Do217 aircraft crashed 16 miles east of Chartres airfield, does this add any further information to the shoot down?

My post #7 still stands-no German records of a loss of a Do 17 or 217 at all

I have also looked through all other Luftwaffe losses from 6-15 July 1942 and and Jim P says, the same again-nothing
