Re: 1/K.Fl.Gr 406 HE 115 sunk HMY Viva II
Thanks Jerry, I will have a look into the CRO's.
It was the ADM's that I looked researched at the NA - about 30 volumes! Some of the 1941 material has been "weeded". I found that the survivors of the VIVA II were rescued by the Destroyer HMS Cleveland. I found a list of survivors and those who died. Could anyone tell me how to access the Luftwaffe archives? Do you mean the Cleveland or the Viva II?

Drumaneen, and others...
A list of those lost on Viva II can be found here: http://www.rnps.lowestoft.org.uk/mem...rial_date1.htm Click 'list 1' and scroll towards the very bottom of the page, checking the date to the left side of each entry as you go... ...here http://www.naval-history.net/xGM-Chr...-Cleveland.htm for a detailled history of HMS Cleveland which picked up survivors... ... and finally, if you scroll to the bottom of page here: http://www.wrecksite.eu/wreck.aspx?76400, '+' marks the location of the wreck. Unfortunately I have hunted around for pictures but to no avail. Perhaps the above will be of some interest and/or use to all concerned. Regards... Paul |

It has been a few years since I posted on this thread, but I wondered if anyone has an update on the Viva II please?
